How to check Gurubala by seeing Kundali

In Hindu tradition, we check Gurubala for most of the occasions like Marriage, Upanayana, etc.
Gurubala is mainly the effect of GuruGruha on that date or Muhurtha for the bride or groom or vatu.

Mainly effect of GuruGruha can be found based on the placement of Guru on that date concerning the Rashi of the candidate for which the Gurubala is being checked.

Below is the explanation of the findings of the Gurubala for anybody for auspicious occasions.
  1. First you need to get the Raashi of the person for whom you are trying to find the Gurubala.
  2. You need to put or generate the Kundali of the time when you want to check the Gurubal
  3. In that Kundali, if Guru Graha is in 2-5-7-9-11 then that person has Gurubal
  4. If in that Kundali, Guru is in 1-3-6-10. It's not Good. But this can be made good by Guru Parayana, GuruShanti.
  5. If Guru is in 4-8-12. It's not at all Good.
  6. If Guru is in Karka Rashi, then no need to check any of the above as Guru is full powerful in Karka Rashi.
For example, if a person's  Rashi is Mithun. and we want to check the Gurubala in July 2022, 20th.
We can see the Kundali of this date:

If you see Guru, is at the 10th  house from Mithun Raashi. So Mithun Rashi people do not have Gurubal on 2022 on this date.

For the same Mithun Rashi, we can check Gurubal on 2023 July.

If you see Guru is at 11 the place from Mithun Rashi, hence For the Mithun Raashi people 2023- June has the Gurubal. You can go for marriage or Upanayana etc rituals; That will be beneficial to them.

Thus you can check the gurubala for doing any good work. !!!

How to decide on Dakshinayana date

In Hindu panchanga, the year is called Samvastara. Each Samvastara has a name. This year 2022 is Shubakrut naam samvastara.

There are two ayanas in a Samvastara.  One is Uttarayana and the other is Dakshinayana. These Ayanas are generally of 6 months.

The decision of the start day of this Ayana is made based on the Sun transition. When Sun transits to Makara Rashi, that's Capricorn is called Makar Sankranti, and it's the start day of Uttarayana. This usually falls on the 14th or 15th Of January every Year. And when Sun transits to Karka Raashi that's cancer is called Karka Sankranti and it's the start day of Dakshinayana..

This can be usually found in any Hindu panchanga :

Above is Sri Raghavendra Swamy Mutt Mantralaya Panchanga. You can also get the date from the Sun transits in Kundali.

The above reference is for Sun transitions in Kundali on the 16th and 17th of July 2022. You can decide the Dakshinayana and Utaarayana Parva dates based on the Sun transitions.
